Getting to us, one of the best restaurant in york
The Old Liquor Store is a 20 minute walk from the centre of York and can also be accessed via several bus routes. We have lots of cycle parking and it’s easy to get a taxi or Uber here from York station. We are the closest restaurant and bar to York racecourse and can be accessed via the secret gate between the clocktower and the racecourse.
Parking is restricted on-site but you can park in bays 1-10 (which are on the right hand side when you enter through the “terry’s” gates on Bishopthorpe Road. Alternatively you can park for several hours on Bishopthorpe Road (by the bus stop) or anywhere on Campleshon road. Please note that the Visitor spaces behind our back door are for residents only. There is an iPad in the restaurant to input your registration number.
